Welcome to The Steampunk Pageant, a dolling pageant with a Steampunk theme. Steampunk is "a sub-genre of fantasy and speculative fiction" whose works are "set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often Victorian era England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions" or "real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date." - Wikipedia.
This pageant will consist of 3 rounds with the entrant using a reoccuring character and base. This is not Miss Steampunk, so male characters are more than welcome. Sound interesting? Check out the rules and round 1 to get going!

29 September: Would you believe that Eucrazia and Eliza TIED for first place overall? That was the biggest thing that took so long, was figuring out how to handle that. In the end, we decided to go back and count the total number of public votes to give one People's Choice and one Judge's Choice for 1st place. I almost cried: Eliza had 54 total and Eucrazia had 53. 1 single public vote made the difference, but obviously these two are equally deserving of 1st place. Congrats to all of the award recipents, we had a hard time choosing. Also, Final rankings were not based on continuancy through the pageant. You will notice Clementine is still in the Top 10 overall, though she did not continue with Round 3. Her previous scores were simply that strong that she beat out some scores who continued all the way through. Again, congrats and thank you. We'll see you next time.
